Ingredients
Instructions
-
Fry the Caesar:
-
- Cut the smoked caesar into sticks and fry until it gets a nice golden color. Set it aside in a bowl.
-
-
Prepare the Chicken:
-
- Cut the chicken breast into strips and then into cubes. Season with salt, black pepper, and sweet paprika (and any other spices you like).
- In the same pan, heat a little oil and fry the chicken until it’s cooked through.
-
-
Cook Onion and Garlic:
-
- While the chicken cooks, finely chop the onion and garlic.
- Once the chicken is done, remove it from the pan and set it aside. In the same pan, add the chopped onion and garlic, frying until the onion softens.
- Add a bit of pasta water to help the onion soften.
-
-
Make the Sauce:
-
- Add 3-4 tablespoons of tomato paste to the pan with the softened onion and garlic. Let it cook for about 2 minutes.
- Pour in 100 ml of cooking cream and stir everything well. Add more pasta water to adjust the consistency of the sauce.
-
-
Combine Pasta and Meat:
-
- Add the cooked pasta, fried caesar, and chicken back into the pan.
- Stir everything together, seasoning with salt to taste. Let the dish simmer on low heat for about 10 minutes to combine all the flavors.
-
-
Serve:
-
- Serve the creamy pasta with a generous sprinkle of parmesan cheese and fresh basil.
