Creamy Chicken and Caesar Pasta with Tomato Sauce

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Fry the Caesar:
      • Cut the smoked caesar into sticks and fry until it gets a nice golden color. Set it aside in a bowl.
  2. Prepare the Chicken:
      • Cut the chicken breast into strips and then into cubes. Season with salt, black pepper, and sweet paprika (and any other spices you like).
      • In the same pan, heat a little oil and fry the chicken until it’s cooked through.
  3. Cook Onion and Garlic:
      • While the chicken cooks, finely chop the onion and garlic.
      • Once the chicken is done, remove it from the pan and set it aside. In the same pan, add the chopped onion and garlic, frying until the onion softens.
      • Add a bit of pasta water to help the onion soften.
  4. Make the Sauce:
      • Add 3-4 tablespoons of tomato paste to the pan with the softened onion and garlic. Let it cook for about 2 minutes.
      • Pour in 100 ml of cooking cream and stir everything well. Add more pasta water to adjust the consistency of the sauce.
  5. Combine Pasta and Meat:
      • Add the cooked pasta, fried caesar, and chicken back into the pan.
      • Stir everything together, seasoning with salt to taste. Let the dish simmer on low heat for about 10 minutes to combine all the flavors.
  6. Serve:
      • Serve the creamy pasta with a generous sprinkle of parmesan cheese and fresh basil.
Enjoy your creamy and delicious chicken and Caesar pasta!
