- Stir in 2 tablespoons of sugar, adjusting to taste, then add the second egg.
- Mix everything well to form a cohesive mixture.

- Gradually add 4-5 tablespoons of flour to the mixture, mixing until you get a sticky dough.

Shape the Papanasi:

- Grease your hands with oil or flour to make shaping easier.
- Take portions of the dough and shape them into doughnut-like circles, just like the traditional style.
- Place the shaped dough onto a chopping board.

Fry the Papanasi:

- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Fry the shaped dough until it starts to turn golden brown, then flip them and cook for a few more minutes.

- Remove the fried papanasi from the oil and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.
- While still hot, coat them in sugar for that final touch (this step is optional but traditional).
