Tocană de Porc (Pork Stew)

Prepare the pork:

- Cut the pork into strips and then cubes, making sure they are not too thick or thin.

Cook the pork:

- Heat 2 tablespoons of sunflower oil in a pan and fry the pork until it gets a nice color.
- Season with salt, sweet paprika, and hot pepper (if using). Let it fry for about 5 minutes.

Prepare the vegetables:

- While the meat is cooking, finely chop the onion and garlic.
- Dice the red pepper and grate the tomato.

Cook the vegetables:

- Once the meat is browned, remove it from the pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, sauté the onion for about 2-3 minutes, then add the red pepper and let it cook.
- Add the grated tomato and mix everything well.

Simmer the stew:

- Add 1 glass of water and season with salt and pepper.
- Return the pork to the pan, then add bay leaf, rosemary, and thyme.
- Cover the pan and let it simmer for 20-25 minutes.

Add the spinach and cream:

- Once the meat is cooked, remove the bay leaf, rosemary, and thyme.
- Add 100 ml of cooking cream and the chopped spinach.
- Let it cook for another 10 minutes.

- Once everything is well mixed and cooked, serve the Tocană de Porc hot.
