Instructions

  1. Prepare the Strawberry Jelly:
    1. In a pot over medium heat, add strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice.
    2. Let it simmer for about 10 minutes, then blend the mixture until smooth.
    3. Let the purée cool slightly.
    4. In a small bowl, mix gelatin with 3–4 tbsp of water and let it bloom for a few minutes.
    5. Add the hydrated gelatin to the warm strawberry purée and mix well. Set aside.
  2. Prepare the Cream Cheese Filling:
    1. In a large bowl, mix cream cheese, vanilla, soft butter, and sugar.
    2. Blend everything together until smooth and creamy.
  3. Assemble the Dessert:
    1. Soak the chocolate biscuits in milk one at a time and arrange them in a single layer in a 25x35 cm tray.
    2. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the biscuit layer.
    3. Soak and place the vanilla biscuits on top of the cream layer, forming the second layer.
    4. Pour the strawberry jelly evenly over the top.
  4. Chill:
    1. Place the tray in the fridge for at least 1 hour, or until the jelly sets completely.
    Serve chilled for the best texture and flavor. This refreshing, sweet-tangy dessert is perfect for summer or any occasion when you need a quick and delicious treat.
