  1. Prepare the Walnuts:

    Grate half of the walnuts and chop the other half finely. Set aside.

  2. Prepare the Fruit:
      • Cut the plums and peaches (or other fruit) into smaller pieces. Set aside.
  3. Prepare the Puff Pastry:
      • Roll out the sheet of puff pastry and cut it into 8 equal pieces.
  4. Prepare the Baking Tray:
      • Line a baking tray with baking paper.
      • Spread honey on the baking paper.
  5. Assemble the Pastries:
      • Place the fruit on top of the honey in the tray and seal the fruit with the puff pastry dough.
  6. Prepare the Egg Wash:
      • In a bowl, mix the egg yolk and 2 tablespoons of milk.
      • Brush this mixture over the puff pastry.
  7. Bake:
      • Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F) and bake the pastries for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Serve:
