  1. Prepare the Baking Tray
    1. Preheat the oven to 160°C (320°F).
    2. Grease a 24 cm baking tray with 2 tablespoons of butter.
    3. Sprinkle 3 tablespoons of sugar over the buttered tray.
    4. Slice 4 ripe bananas and arrange them evenly on the bottom of the tray. Set aside.
  2. Prepare the Cake Batter
    1. Crack 5 large eggs (or 6 small eggs) into a large bowl.
    2. Add 1/2 cup sugar, 1 teaspoon salt, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract to the eggs.
    3. Use a whisk to mix everything well until combined.
    4. Pour in 1 cup of oil (or melted butter) and 1 cup of kefir (or yogurt), then stir to incorporate.
    5. Gradually add 2 cups of flour, mixing until the batter is smooth.
  3. Assemble the Cake
    1. Pour the prepared batter over the arranged bananas in the baking tray.
  4. Bake the Cake
    1. Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake for about 35-40 minutes or until the toothpick comes out clean when tested in the center of the cake.
  5. Serve
    1. Once baked, remove the cake from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
    2. Optionally, drizzle with chocolate sauce for added flavor and indulgence.
    3. Slice and serve!
