Season the salmon pieces with salt, black pepper, and sweet paprika. Fry them in a well-heated pan with a little olive oil until golden brown and cooked through. Remove them from the pan and set them aside.
-
Put the diced potatoes in a pot with water and salt. Boil them until tender, then drain them and mash them well. Add some olive oil and salt to taste.
-
In the same pan where you fried the salmon, melt 30 grams of butter. Add 2 tablespoons of flour and stir well until you get a paste. Let it fry for 1-2 minutes, then gradually add the milk, stirring continuously until you get a creamy sauce. Season with salt, lemon juice, black pepper, cheddar cheese, and mustard. Add chopped parsley and let it simmer for another 2-3 minutes.
-
In an ovenproof dish, place the fried salmon pieces. Cover them with the prepared sauce, add the spinach leaves and mashed potatoes. Sprinkle cheddar cheese on top and place the dish in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown on top.
-
Serve the hot salmon fish pie and enjoy it with your loved ones.
