  1. Prepare the Potatoes
    1. Clean and wash the potatoes well, then cut them into cubes.
    2. Place them in a pot and add cold water to cover them. Add salt to taste.
    3. Boil the potatoes until they are soft and fully cooked.
  2. Cook the Chicken
    1. While the potatoes are cooking, heat some oil in a pan.
    2. Add the chicken breast cubes, season with salt, black pepper, and sweet paprika, and fry until they are browned and cooked through.
    3. Once cooked, remove the chicken from the pan and set it aside.
  3. Cook the Mushrooms and Onions
    1. In the same pan, add the mushrooms and green onions (or dried onion).
    2. Cook them for about 10-15 minutes, until they soften and release moisture.
    3. Season with salt and pour in 1/2 cup of cheese with wine (or regular cheese).
    4. Add 1 tablespoon of cream cheese and your favorite condiments (optional).
    5. Return the cooked chicken to the pan and cook for another 10 minutes until everything is well combined. Add a little black pepper at the end.
  4. Make the Mashed Potatoes
    1. Once the potatoes are cooked, drain them and season with salt.
    2. Add 1 tablespoon of butter, 1 tablespoon of cream cheese, a bit of cheese, and a splash of milk.
    3. Mash the potatoes until smooth and creamy.
  5. Assemble the Casserole
    1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F).
    2. In an oven-safe dish, spread half of the mashed potatoes on the bottom of the dish, pressing it down to create an even layer.
    3. Add the chicken and mushroom mixture on top of the mashed potatoes.
    4. Cover the chicken mixture with the remaining mashed potatoes, spreading it evenly across the surface.
    5. Grate 60 grams of cheese on top of the mashed potatoes.
  6. Bake the Casserole
    1. Place the dish in the oven and bake for about 20 minutes, or until the cheese melts and the casserole is heated through.
