Caramel and Chocolate Oat Bars

Prepare the caramel:

- In a large saucepan, combine 100g sugar and 20ml cold water. Mix well.
- Place the saucepan on medium to high heat and cook until the mixture changes color to a golden brown. (Avoid high heat to prevent bitterness.)
- Once it reaches the right color, add 60g butter and stir well to combine.
- Add 100ml whipping cream and continue mixing until everything is incorporated smoothly.
- Add a pinch of salt, and allow the mixture to simmer for 2-3 minutes to thicken slightly. Remove from heat and let it cool to room temperature.

Mix the dry ingredients:

- Once the caramel mixture has cooled, transfer it to a large bowl.
- Add 300g oats, 2 tablespoons coconut flakes, 30g chopped walnuts, and any dried fruits you like. Mix everything thoroughly until well combined.

Shape the bars:

- Line a tray with plastic wrap.
- Transfer the mixture into the tray and press it down firmly, leveling the surface.

- Cover the tray and refrigerate the mixture for 1 hour to allow the bars to firm up.
