Braised Chicken with Polenta and Garlic Sauce

Prepare the Chicken:

- Cut the whole chicken into pieces.
- Place the chicken pieces in a pot, cover with water, and bring it to a boil.
- Once the foam begins to form, remove it.
- Take the legs and wings out of the pot and set them aside on a plate.

Fry the Chicken:

- Heat a little oil in a pan and fry the chicken pieces until they are nicely browned.
- Turn the chicken pieces to ensure they are evenly cooked.

Make the Garlic Sauce:

- Peel and grate a few garlic cloves.
- Use a pestle and mortar (or a spoon) to mash the garlic into a paste.
- Gradually add oil while mashing the garlic to make a smooth paste.
- Add a little bit of cold chicken soup to the garlic paste and mix well.
- Garnish with fresh parsley.

Braised Chicken:

- Once the chicken is browned, add 1 cup of chicken soup into the pan.
- Cover and cook for a few more minutes, allowing the chicken to braise in the soup.

Prepare the Polenta:

- Boil water in a separate pot.
- Gradually stir in 3-4 tablespoons of polenta until the mixture thickens to your desired consistency. Season with a little salt if needed.

- Once the chicken is cooked and the polenta is ready, serve the braised chicken with a generous amount of garlic sauce on top, alongside the polenta.
