Instructions

  1. Prepare the Apples:
      • In a pan, cook the apples, lemon juice, sugar, and cinnamon over medium heat for about 7 minutes, until soft.
      • Set aside to cool.
  2. Make the Cake Batter:
      • In a bowl, beat eggs and sugar until doubled in size (about 4 minutes).
      • Add vegetable oil and mix for 1 more minute.
      • Gradually incorporate the cake flour, mixing gently.
  3. Bake the Cake:
      • Preheat the oven to 170°C (340°F).
      • Grease a cake pan with butter and pour in the batter.
      • Bake for 25 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean
  4. Assemble the Cake:
      • Spread peanut butter over the cooled cake.
      • Layer the soft apples evenly on top.
  5. Prepare the Whipped Cream:
      • Beat double cream and sugar until fluffy.
      • Spread or pipe it over the cake.
  6. Final Touches:
      • Sprinkle with chopped walnuts.
      • Drizzle with caramel sauce (optional).
