  1. Prepare the zucchini:

    • Wash and slice the zucchini into thin rounds.
    • Season with a little salt and black pepper, then set aside.
    • Drain the zucchini after a few minutes (they will release water).
  1. Prepare the filling:

    • In a large bowl, beat 3 eggs.
    • Add cooking cream, salt, black pepper, and oregano (if using).
    • Cut chicken breasts into small, even pieces and add them to the egg mixture.
    • Finely chop green onion and stir it into the mixture.
    • Add grated cheddar cheese and mix everything well. Set aside.
  1. Assemble the tart:

    • Grease an oven-safe pan or baking dish with a little oil.
    • Arrange the drained zucchini slices in the bottom of the pan.
    • Sprinkle with a little pepper.
    • Pour the chicken-egg-cheese mixture over the zucchini.
  1. Bake:

    • Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F).
    • Bake until the top is golden brown and the chicken is cooked through.
  1. Add topping and finish baking:

    • Beat 2 more eggs and mix in more grated cheddar cheese.
    • Add sliced tomatoes on top.
    • Pour the egg-cheese mixture over the tart.
    • Return to the oven and bake until the cheese melts and the topping sets.
  1. Serve:

    • Let the tart cool slightly before slicing.
    • Serve warm, paired with a fresh salad or crusty bread.
