Ingredients
For the Meat Filling
2-3tbsp olive oil (or sunflower oil)
400g ground pork (or meat of choice)
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 small carrots, grated (or 1 large carrot)
3 garlic cloves, sliced
1 bay leaf
Salt, to taste
1tbsp tomato paste
For Assembly
3 flatbreads or wraps, cut in half (6 halves total)
Cheddar cheese, grated or sliced
Béchamel sauce (as needed)
Extra cheddar cheese for topping
Instructions

Cook the Meat
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the ground pork.
Cook until browned and lightly caramelized.

Add the Vegetables
Add the chopped onion.
Add the sliced garlic.
Add the grated carrots.
Stir in the bay leaf.
Season with salt.
Cook until the vegetables soften.

Finish the Filling
Add the tomato paste.
Stir well to combine.
Cook for another 1–2 minutes.
Remove from the heat and let the filling cool slightly.

Prepare the Flatbreads
Cut each flatbread in half if not already prepared.
Place cheddar cheese on each flatbread piece.
Add 1–2 tablespoons of the meat filling on top of the cheese.

Fold into Triangles
Fold each flatbread into a triangle shape, enclosing the filling.
Repeat with the remaining flatbreads and filling.

Arrange in the Baking Tray
Line a baking tray with baking paper.
Place the filled triangle flatbreads in the tray in a single layer.

Add the Toppings
Spoon béchamel sauce over each triangle.
Sprinkle generously with cheddar cheese.

Bake
Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F).
Bake until the cheese is melted and golden brown on top.
Remove from the oven once nicely browned.
