Preparing the Strawberries:
- Wash 1 kg of strawberries well.
- Take about 12 strawberries, cut them, and mash them to make a sauce. Set the sauce aside.
- Cut three-quarters of the remaining strawberries into cubes and save some for decoration.

Preparing the Cream:
- In a large bowl, add 250 g of mascarpone cheese.
- Add 3 tablespoons of powdered sugar (or to taste).
- Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract and the zest of one lemon.
- Mix all the ingredients well.
- Pour 400 ml of whipping cream and incorporate everything with a spatula and a whisk. If you prefer, you can use a mixer.
- Add the chopped strawberries and mix well.

Assembling the Cake:
- Take 3 packets of biscuits and dip each biscuit in the strawberry sauce.
- Place the biscuits one by one in a tray measuring 25x35 cm.
- Add a large part of the mascarpone and cream mixture, leaving some for the top layer.
- Add another layer of dipped biscuits and the remaining cream.
- Decorate with the saved strawberries.
