Instructions

  1. Prepare the Meat:
    1. Cut pork into cubes.
    2. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan, add the meat and sauté until browned.
    3. Season with salt, pepper, and sweet paprika.
    4. Cook for 1 more minute, then remove from the pan and set aside.
  2. Prepare the Vegetables:
    1. Finely chop the onion.
    2. Dice the carrot, celery, and bell pepper.
    3. Chop the parsley and set aside for garnishing.
  3. Cook the Stew:
    1. In the same pan, add 1 tbsp oil and sauté the onion for 1 minute.
    2. Add carrot, celery, and bell pepper. Cook for another 2 minutes.
    3. Return the meat to the pan.
    4. Add tomato paste and stir well.
    5. Pour in the wine and water.
    6. Add thyme and bay leaf.
    7. Cover with a lid and simmer on medium-low heat for 40 minutes until the meat is tender and flavors are combined.
  4. Final Touch:
    • Sprinkle fresh parsley on top before serving.
