- Peel the carrot and grate it using a large grater.
- Add the grated carrot to the bowl with the cabbage.

Add the Fresh Herbs
- If you have fresh parsley and dill, chop them finely and add them to the bowl with the cabbage and carrot.
- If you don't have fresh herbs, you can skip this step, but they add great flavor!
