- Clean and wash 500 grams of cherries.

- Add 1 cup of Greek yogurt and mix well.
- Add 1 cup of sunflower oil and incorporate with a whisk.
- Grate the zest of one lemon and add it to the mixture.
- Add 2 cups of flour and 1 teaspoon of baking powder, mixing gently to avoid lumps

- Grease a pan with butter and sprinkle 1 tablespoon of sugar.
- Squeeze the juice of half a lemon over the cherries and place them at the bottom of the pan.

- Pour three-quarters of the batter over the cherries.
- Add 1 tablespoon of cocoa to the remaining batter and mix well.
- Pour the cocoa batter over the batter in the pan.

- Bake the cake until it passes the toothpick test.
