  1. Prepare the Wet Ingredients

    • In a large bowl, pour:

      • Mineral water

      • Oil

      • Sugar

      • Vanilla essence

      • Lemon zest

      • A pinch of salt

    • Mix well using a whisk until the sugar dissolves.

  1. Prepare the Dry Ingredients

    • In a separate bowl, add:

      • Half of the flour (300 g)

      • Baking powder

      • Turmeric (optional)

    • Mix well to combine evenly.

  1. Combine the Batter

    • Gradually add the dry mixture into the wet ingredients.

    • Add the remaining flour slowly.

    • Mix gently until smooth and lump-free.

    • Do not overmix.

  1. Create the Marble Effect

    • Grease the baking pans with a little oil.

    • Pour half of the batter into the pans.

    • To the remaining batter, add:

      • Strawberry jam

      • Cocoa powder

    • Mix well.

    • Pour this cocoa mixture over the plain batter.
