- Finely chop the 2 red onions (or yellow onions) and place them in a bowl.
- Grate 2 medium potatoes and drain any excess liquid.
- Soak 2 slices of bread in water (or milk), then tear it into small pieces.

Mix the Meatball Mixture:

- In a large bowl, add the 400g ground pork, grated potatoes, bread pieces, chopped parsley, thyme, 2 beaten eggs, and salt and pepper to taste.
- Mix everything thoroughly until well combined. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
