Creamy Salmon Fish Pie

  1. Prepare the Fish:
    1. Season the 600 g salmon with salt, black pepper, and sweet paprika. Drizzle with olive oil.
    2. In a well-heated pan, add a little oil and fry the fish until it is cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  2. Cook the Potatoes:
    1. Boil 6-7 potatoes in water with a pinch of salt until tender. Drain and set aside.
  3. Make the Creamy Sauce:
    1. In the same pan, melt 30 g butter, then add 2 tbsp flour. Stir and cook for 1-2 minutes.
    2. Gradually add 200-250 ml milk, stirring constantly, until the mixture becomes creamy.
    3. Season with salt, add juice of half a lemon, black pepper, 70 g cheddar cheese, and 1 tbsp mustard.
    4. Stir in fresh parsley and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  4. Mash the Potatoes:
    1. Mash the boiled potatoes with a little olive oil and sprinkle with salt. Set aside.
  5. Assemble the Fish Pie:
    1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
    2. In a heat-resistant tray, layer the cooked salmon at the bottom.
    3. Pour the creamy sauce over the fish.
    4. Add 2 sprigs spinach on top and spread the mashed potatoes evenly over everything.
    5. Sprinkle cheddar cheese on top of the potatoes.
  6. Bake the Fish Pie:
    1. Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 40-45 minutes, until the top is golden and bubbly.
  7. Serve and Enjoy:
    1. Let the pie cool slightly before serving.
