Chicken Breast with Salami, Cheese, and Tomato

Ingredients
  • 2 pieces of chicken breast
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Black pepper (to taste)
  • Sweet paprika (to taste, or hot paprika if preferred)
  • 2 tablespoons Oregano
  • 2 tablespoons Oil
  • 70 grams of cheddar cheese (or your preferred cheese)
  • Salami slices (as needed, cut in half if large)
  • 2 small tomatoes (sliced)
Instructions
  1. Prepare the Chicken:
      • Take 2 pieces of chicken breast and mark them lightly with a knife.
      • In a bowl, mix salt, black pepper, sweet paprika (or hot pepper for heat), oregano, and oil. Stir everything well to combine.
  2. Prepare the Filling:
      • Slice 70 grams of cheddar cheese into thin slices.
      • Slice the salami into pieces. If the salami is large, cut it in half.
      • Slice 2 small tomatoes into thin slices.
  3. Assemble the Dish:
      • Preheat the oven to 200°C.
      • Place the marked chicken breasts into an oven-safe tray.
      • Using a brush, coat each chicken breast with the prepared spice and oil mixture.
      • Carefully create pockets in each chicken breast and stuff them with a slice of salami, cheddar cheese, and a slice of tomato.
  4. Bake:
      • Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and golden.
  5. Serve and Enjoy:
