Prepare the Cauliflower:
- Cut the washed cauliflower into florets.
- Place the cauliflower in cold water, add salt, and bring it to a boil.
- Let it cook until tender (check by inserting a fork), then drain and let it cool completely.

Chop the Onion:
- Finely chop the large onion, or use an electric chopper for convenience.

Make the Mayonnaise:
- In a bowl, combine 1 raw egg yolk with 1 teaspoon of mustard.
- Gradually add 200-250 ml of oil, whisking continuously until you achieve the desired consistency.

Assemble the Salad:
- Once the cauliflower has cooled, chop it into smaller pieces if necessary.
- In a large bowl, mix the chopped cauliflower, mayonnaise, chopped onion, 1 teaspoon of salt, and black pepper to taste.

Serve:
- Mix everything well and serve the salad cold. It’s even better the next day!
