Prepare the Walnut Mixture:
Chop 60 grams walnuts (half finely chopped and half grated) and mix them with 1 tablespoon maple syrup (or sugar), a pinch of ginger, and cinnamon. Set this mixture aside.
3
Assemble the Cake Base:
Grease a baking pan with butter and sprinkle 2 tablespoons of sugar in the pan.
Place the chopped apples in the pan and stuff them with the walnut mixture using a teaspoon.

Pour in 30 milliliters of oil and mix for another minute.
Gradually fold in 180 grams of cake flour using a whisk until smooth.
Pour the sponge mixture over the apples in the pan.
5
Bake the Cake:
Preheat the oven to 165°C (330°F) and bake the cake until a toothpick inserted comes out clean (about 30-40 minutes).
6
Prepare the Cream:
In a separate bowl, combine 150 milliliters of cream, 3-4 tablespoons of sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla essence, and 2 tablespoons cream cheese. Whisk until smooth.
7
Cool and Decorate:
