Apple Blossom Pastry with Walnuts and Honey

medium-sized apples (peeled, cored, and sliced)

brown sugar (or caster sugar)

cinnamon (more if desired)

sheet of puff pastry

walnut (halved, grated, and chopped)

Instructions

Prepare the Apples:
Peel and core the
3 medium-sized apples
.
Slice the apples into pieces, ensuring they are not too thick or too thin.
Sprinkle the apple slices with
1 tablespoon brown sugar
and
1 teaspoon cinnamon
. Mix well to coat the apples evenly.

Prepare the Puff Pastry:
Roll out the
puff pastry sheet
on a flat surface.
Cut the pastry into strips, as shown in the image.

Assemble the Apple Flowers:
Take
1-2 strips of puff pastry
and thread them through the hole in the middle of each apple slice.
You can create the hole using a bottle cap if needed.

Place the formed apple flower pastries onto a tray lined with
