Prepare the Walnut Filling
- Take 250 g of walnuts and chop them finely using a food processor (or grate them if you don’t have a processor).
- In a separate bowl, mix 100 g of flour, 100 g of sugar, and 80 g of cold butter until the mixture reaches a sandy texture.
- Add the ground walnuts to the mixture and stir well to combine.
3 Assemble the Biscuits
- Roll out the dough as thin as possible.
- Spread the walnut filling evenly over the dough.
- Carefully roll the dough into a log shape with the help of your hands.
- Flatten the rolled dough into a rectangular shape.
4 Bake the Biscuits
- Brush the top of the dough with the beaten egg.
- Cut the dough into biscuit shapes (either rectangles or other shapes of your choice).
- Place the biscuits on a baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C until they are golden brown (about 20-25 minutes).
