Easter Eggs Painted with Onion Peels

Ingredients
  • 30 grams of onion peels (red and yellow)
  • 1.2 liter of water

  1. In a pot, combine 30 grams of onion peels with 1.2 liters of water

  4. Stir in 2 teaspoons of salt until dissolved, then allow the solution to cool.

  7. In a cup, pour vinegar and place an egg in it for about 30 seconds.
  8. Remove the egg from the vinegar and wipe it with a napkin.
  9. Repeat the process with the remaining eggs to degrease them.

  12. Pour the prepared onion peel solution over the eggs.
  13. Add 5 teaspoons of vinegar to the bowl.

  15. Let the mixture simmer for about 10-12 minutes, or until the eggs reach the desired color. Adjust the timing according to preference; approximately 15 minutes for a rich color.
