Stuffed Flatbreads with Meat and Vegetables – Quick & Delicious Snack

Ingredients
  • 1 onion
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 500 grams ground meat (pork or your choice)
  • 1 can of diced or crushed tomatoes
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 bay leaves
  • Grated cheese (your favorite kind)
  • Flatbreads or tortillas
Instructions
  1. Prepare the filling:
      • Sauté the chopped onion in a pan with a bit of oil until golden.
      • Add the minced garlic and cook for another 1–2 minutes.
      • Add the ground meat and cook until browned.
      • Stir in the canned tomatoes, diced green pepper, salt, pepper, and bay leaves.
      • Let everything simmer until the mixture thickens and the liquid reduces.
  2. Assemble the flatbreads:
      • Grate the cheese.
      • Place a flatbread on a clean surface, sprinkle cheese on top, then add a spoonful of the meat mixture.
      • Fold or wrap the flatbread like a pocket or burrito.
  3. Toast the wraps:
      • Toast each wrap in a sandwich press, toaster, or hot grill pan for 1–2 minutes until crispy and the cheese is melted.
  4. Serve:
      • Enjoy hot! These go great with a simple yogurt dip or a bit of ketchup on the side.
