Stuffed Bread with Meat and Vegetables

Ingredients
  • Onion, chopped
  • Garlic clove, minced
  • Minced meat (e.g., pork, beef, or chicken)
  • Grated cheese
  • Canned tomatoes

  • Bay leaf
  • Green pepper, diced
  • Bread slices
Instructions
    I really like these dishes that have a few ingredients and that don't need a lot of time to prepare that everyone likes, especially the little ones.
  1. In a pan, sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic clove for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  2. Add the minced meat to the pan and cook until browned.
  3. Stir in the grated cheese and canned tomatoes. Season with salt, pepper, and bay leaf.
  4. Add the diced green pepper and cook until the excess liquid evaporates, leaving a thick filling.
  5. Preheat a toaster or oven.
  6. On a baking sheet, lay out the bread slices. Sprinkle grated cheese over each slice.
  7. Spoon the meat and vegetable filling onto each bread slice.
  8. Carefully fold the bread slices over the filling to create stuffed pockets.
  9. Place the stuffed bread in the toaster or oven and toast for 1-2 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the bread is crispy.
  10. Serve hot and enjoy your delicious stuffed bread with meat and vegetables!
