Spicy Chicken with Chili Sauce

Ingredients
  • Chicken thighs (boneless, skinless, cut into cubes)
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 50 milliliters water (for the cornstarch mixture)
  • 50 milliliters red chili sauce
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
Instructions
  1. Cook the Chicken:
      • Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
      • Add the cubed chicken and cook until it gets a golden-brown color on all sides.
  2. Season the Chicken:
      • Once the chicken is cooked, season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Prepare the Sauce:
      • While the chicken is cooking, mince 2 cloves of garlic.
      • In a bowl, mix 1 teaspoon of cornstarch with 50 ml of water and stir well to dissolve.
  4. Combine the Sauce Ingredients:
      • Add the minced garlic to the cooked chicken and sauté for about 2 minutes.
      • Pour in the cornstarch mixture, 50 ml of red chili sauce, 2 teaspoons of honey, and 1 teaspoon of paprika.
      • Stir everything together until well combined, and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  5. Serve:
      • Serve the spicy chicken hot, with a side of rice or your favorite side dish.
