A simple, homemade pasta dish with garden-fresh tomatoes, garlic, basil, and Parmesan — perfect for a quick family dinner.
Heat 2–3 tbsp olive oil in a pan.
Lightly sauté garlic for 2 minutes (don’t burn it).
Add chopped onion, cook until golden.
Add halved tomatoes and ½ glass of water (or broth/wine).
Cook until tomatoes soften, then remove the skins.
Season with salt, pepper, basil, baking soda, and oregano.
Boil spaghetti in salted water, cooking 2–3 minutes less than package instructions.
Add a ladle of pasta water to the sauce and mix.
