Ingredients
  • 1 medium-sized cabbage (finely chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon of salt
  • Sliced pork breast (from Wallachia)
  • 1 medium-sized yellow onion (finely chopped)
  • 1-2 capia pepper (or any pepper you prefer)
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 3 tablespoons of oil (or butter)
  • Tomato paste
  • 1 cup of water
Instructions
  1. Preparing the Cabbage:
    • Finely chop the cabbage and add one tablespoon of salt.
    • Knead the cabbage with your hands until it softens and set it aside.
  2. Preparing the Meat:
    • Cut the pork breast into suitable pieces (not too small, not too large).
    • In a large pot, add 3 tablespoons of oil (or butter) and fry the meat until it changes color.
  3. Preparing the Vegetables:
    • Finely chop the yellow onion and capia pepper (or any pepper you prefer).
  4. Cooking the Dish:
    • When the meat is ready, add the onion, pepper, and 2 bay leaves.
    • Add the cabbage and tomato paste.
    • Pour in a cup of water and let everything boil over medium heat for about an hour.
