In a bowl, mix minced pork with rice, egg, salt, and pepper.
With wet palms, form small round meatballs.
Boil water with a little salt.
Add the meatballs and cook until they foam and rise to the surface.
Chop the onion finely.
Grate or cube the carrots.
Chop the celery leaves (or root).
Cube the potatoes.
Skim the foam from the meatball broth.
Add onion, carrots, celery, and potatoes.
Once the potatoes are tender, add canned tomatoes.
