Quick Tuna and Cheddar Cheese Toasts | Pâine prăjită rapidă cu ton și brânză Cheddar
Ingredients
For the Base:
2 rolls (or 2 slices of bread)
150 grams Cheddar cheese (or your favorite cheese), sliced thinly
For the Filling:
1 can of tuna (drained)
1 shallot (or regular onion), finely chopped
A bunch of green parsley, chopped
For the Decoration:
Half a can of sweet corn
3 dried tomatoes, finely chopped
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 tablespoon oil
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions
Prepare the Base
Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F).
Line a resistant oven tray with baking paper.
Cut 2 rolls (or 2 slices of bread) in half, placing them in the tray.
Make the Filling
In a large bowl, combine 1 can of drained tuna, finely chopped shallot (or regular onion), and chopped parsley.
For the decoration, add half a can of sweet corn, 3 finely chopped dried tomatoes, 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise, 1 tablespoon of oil, and season with salt and black pepper. Mix everything well.
Assemble the Toasts
Spread the tuna mixture slightly over the bread or rolls.
Top each piece with slices of cheddar cheese.
Bake
Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake for about 10 minutes, or until the cheese melts and the toasts are golden brown.
