Ingredients
  • Potatoes (adjust quantity based on servings)
  • Salt (for boiling)
  • Smoked sausages (sliced thin)
  • 1/2 onion (chopped, adjust according to preference)
  • Green onions (chopped, optional)
  • Black pepper (to taste)
  • Sweet paprika (or spicy paprika, to taste)
  • 1 cup of water
Instructions
  1. Boil the Potatoes
    1. Clean and peel the potatoes. Cut them into cubes, making sure they're not too small or too large.
    2. Rinse the potatoes and change the water. Fill with cold water, sprinkle a little salt, and bring it to a boil.
    3. Boil until the potatoes are softened but not completely tender (about 10-15 minutes). Drain and set aside.
  2. Cook the Sausages and Vegetables
    1. Slice the smoked sausages thinly.
    2. Heat a frying pan over medium heat and add the sliced sausages. Fry until they are nicely browned.
    3. While the sausages are cooking, chop 1/2 onion and the green onions (if using).
    4. Once the sausages are colored, add the chopped onions to the pan. Sauté for about 2 minutes until softened.
  3. Combine Everything
    1. Add 1 cup of water to the pan with sausages and onions, and let it simmer until the onions soften.
    2. Add the boiled and drained potatoes to the pan. Stir to combine.
    3. Season with salt, black pepper, and sweet paprika (or spicy paprika). Adjust seasoning to taste.
