- Potatoes (adjust quantity based on servings)
- Salt (for boiling)
- Smoked sausages (sliced thin)
- 1/2 onion (chopped, adjust according to preference)
- Green onions (chopped, optional)
- Black pepper (to taste)
- Sweet paprika (or spicy paprika, to taste)
- 1 cup of water
- Boil the Potatoes
- Clean and peel the potatoes. Cut them into cubes, making sure they're not too small or too large.
- Rinse the potatoes and change the water. Fill with cold water, sprinkle a little salt, and bring it to a boil.
- Boil until the potatoes are softened but not completely tender (about 10-15 minutes). Drain and set aside.
- Cook the Sausages and Vegetables
- Slice the smoked sausages thinly.
- Heat a frying pan over medium heat and add the sliced sausages. Fry until they are nicely browned.
- While the sausages are cooking, chop 1/2 onion and the green onions (if using).
- Once the sausages are colored, add the chopped onions to the pan. Sauté for about 2 minutes until softened.
- Combine Everything
- Add 1 cup of water to the pan with sausages and onions, and let it simmer until the onions soften.
- Add the boiled and drained potatoes to the pan. Stir to combine.
- Season with salt, black pepper, and sweet paprika (or spicy paprika). Adjust seasoning to taste.
