- 250 grams strawberries
- 2 packets of ladyfingers
- 150 milliliters milk
- 250 grams cold mascarpone cheese
- 200 milliliters cold whipping cream
- Vanilla extract (or vanilla essence)
- 3 tablespoons powdered sugar (adjust to taste)
- Prepare the Strawberries:
- Wash 250 g of strawberries well and slice them
- Prepare the Work Surface:
- Use a larger cutting board and cover it with plastic wrap or baking paper.
- Arrange the Ladyfingers and Strawberries:
- Take two ladyfingers and place them on the edge of the cutting board.
- Place the strawberry slices on top of the ladyfingers.
- Soak the Ladyfingers:
- Pour about 150 ml of milk into a plate.
- Soak the ladyfingers in the milk and place them on top of the strawberries.
- Prepare the Cream:
- In a bowl, add 250 g of cold mascarpone cheese, 200 ml of cold whipping cream, vanilla extract, and 3 tablespoons of powdered sugar (adjust to taste).
- Mix everything very well until the cream starts to thicken.
- Apply the Cream:
- Using a spatula, spread the cream evenly over the ladyfingers, being careful not to move them
- Roll the Cake:
- Using the plastic wrap, roll the cake tightly and flatten it well with your fingers.
- Chill the Cake:
- Leave the cake in the fridge for at least 2 hours or, preferably, overnight.
