Ingredients
  • 250 grams strawberries
  • 2 packets of ladyfingers
  • 150 milliliters milk
  • 250 grams cold mascarpone cheese
  • 200 milliliters cold whipping cream
  • Vanilla extract (or vanilla essence)
  • 3 tablespoons powdered sugar (adjust to taste)
Instructions
  1. Prepare the Strawberries:
    • Wash 250 g of strawberries well and slice them
  2. Prepare the Work Surface:
    • Use a larger cutting board and cover it with plastic wrap or baking paper.
  3. Arrange the Ladyfingers and Strawberries:
    • Take two ladyfingers and place them on the edge of the cutting board.
    • Place the strawberry slices on top of the ladyfingers.
  4. Soak the Ladyfingers:
    • Pour about 150 ml of milk into a plate.
    • Soak the ladyfingers in the milk and place them on top of the strawberries.
  5. Prepare the Cream:
    • In a bowl, add 250 g of cold mascarpone cheese, 200 ml of cold whipping cream, vanilla extract, and 3 tablespoons of powdered sugar (adjust to taste).
    • Mix everything very well until the cream starts to thicken.
  6. Apply the Cream:
    • Using a spatula, spread the cream evenly over the ladyfingers, being careful not to move them
  7. Roll the Cake:
    • Using the plastic wrap, roll the cake tightly and flatten it well with your fingers.
  8. Chill the Cake:
    • Leave the cake in the fridge for at least 2 hours or, preferably, overnight.
