Post Cornulets with Sour Soup | Cornulețe de Post cu Bors

Ingredients
  • 250 milliliters oil
  • 140 milliliters sour soup
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • vanilla
  • salt
  • 590 grams flour
  • 10 grams baking powder
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting)
  • 400g Turkish delight
Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, mix together all the ingredients for the dough.
  2. Let it rest for 10 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile, cut the Turkish delight into smaller pieces.
  4. Divide the dough into eight pieces.
  5. Roll out each piece of dough into a round shape and cut it into 16 triangles.
  6. Place a piece of Turkish delight on each edge of a triangle and roll tightly with your fingers.
  7. Place the Cornulets on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees Celsius for 20 minutes or until they are nicely browned on top.
  8. Remove the Cornulets from the oven and while they are still hot, roll them in powdered sugar.
