- 500 grams pork meat (cut into chunks)
- 1 tablespoon butter (for frying)
- 1 medium-sized onion (finely chopped)
- 3 green onions (finely chopped)
- 1 carrot (finely chopped or grated)
- 1 red pepper (finely chopped, or green if preferred)
- 3 cloves garlic (finely chopped, adjust to preference)
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 500 milliliters water (or chicken broth)
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- Salt (to taste)
- Prepare the Meat
- In a hot pan, melt 1 tablespoon of butter.
- Add 500 grams of pork meat and fry it until it turns golden brown. Once done, remove the meat from the pan and set it aside.
- Cook the Vegetables
- In the same pan, add the finely chopped onion and cook for 2-3 minutes until softened.
- Add the green onions, grated or chopped carrot, and red pepper. Fry everything for a few minutes.
- Combine Ingredients
- Add the rest of the garlic, paprika, salt, and mix everything together.
- Stir in 1 tablespoon of tomato paste and fry it a little to release the flavors.
- Return the pork to the pan, then add 500 ml of water (or chicken broth for extra flavor).
- Add 1 bay leaf, 1 teaspoon thyme, and salt to taste.
- Simmer
- Stir everything well and let it simmer on low heat for 30-40 minutes, until the meat is tender and the sauce has thickened.
