1 large pack of Oreo cookies with double cream (you can also use the original ones, but the double cream provides a more intense flavor)
450 grams cold heavy cream
2 tablespoons powdered sugar (adjust to taste)
Optional:
Vanilla extract, to taste
Instructions
Prepare the Oreo Cookies:
Crush 1 large pack of Oreo cookies with double cream using a knife. You can also use a blender if you prefer smaller pieces, but keeping larger chunks provides a richer flavor.
Reserve 2-3 cookies for decoration.
Prepare the Whipped Cream:
In a large bowl, add 450g of cold heavy cream.
Add 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar. Adjust the amount of sugar according to your preference.
Add a few drops of vanilla extract (optional).
Mix the ingredients gently. Avoid over-mixing to maintain a light and airy texture.
Incorporate the Cookies:
Add the crushed cookies to the whipped cream mixture.
Fold the cookies into the mixture gently with a spatula. Avoid over-mixing to keep the texture airy
Prepare for Freezing:
Pour the mixture into a freezer-safe tray.
Sprinkle the reserved cookie pieces on top.
Place the tray in the freezer for about an hour or until the ice cream reaches the desired consistency
Serve and Enjoy:
Remove the ice cream from the freezer and enjoy it on a hot summer day or anytime you crave a delicious treat.
