For the cream
- 90 grams soft butter
- 100 grams sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 250 grams cheese
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
- In a large bowl, cream together the soft butter and sugar until fluffy.
- Gradually add the eggs, mixing well after each addition.
- Mix in the milk, baking powder, lemon peel, sifted flour, and vanilla until well combined.
- Grease a baking tray with butter and spread the cake batter evenly into it.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
- Meanwhile, prepare the cream by mixing together the soft butter, sugar, salt, and vanilla until fluffy.
- Incorporate the cheese into the cream mixture until well combined.
- Once the cake top is ready, let it cool and then soak it with a little milk.
- Make several holes on the cake top and spread the lemon cream and cheese cream over it.
