It’s the creamiest pasta I’ve ever eaten and it’s so easy to make, orzo pasta
Servings:
12
Ingredients
150
g
orzo pasta
2
breast chicken
salt
black pepper
sweet paprika
garlic powder
2/3
tbsp
olive oil
1
onion
(red)
tomatoes
(whole canned)
5
clove
garlic
1
cup
butter
2
glasses of water
((for a quantity of orzo add twice as much liquid))
1
handful of spinach
70
g
parmigiano
Instructions
1
Season the diced chicken with salt, black pepper, sweet paprika, garlic powder, oregano, and olive oil. Mix well.
2
In a well-heated pan, add two tablespoons of oil and the seasoned chicken. Fry until cooked through. Then set aside.
3
In the same pan, add a cup of butter, chopped onions, and garlic. Sauté for a few minutes until golden.
4
Once the onions are caramelized, add the Orzo pasta to the pan. Sauté for two minutes.
5
Pour in a glass of water and add the cherry tomatoes. Then, top up with another glass of water.
6
Season with salt and let it simmer until the pasta is cooked. Typically, use twice the amount of liquid to the quantity of Orzo pasta.
7
When the pasta is cooked, add a handful of spinach and grated Parmesan cheese. Mix well.
8
Finally, add the cooked chicken back to the pan, stir, and serve. Leave a comment and let me know what you think about this recipe!
