Honey Glazed Ham with Citrus Infusion | Şuncă glazurată cu miere cu infuzie de citrice

piece of ham
Water
Several cloves of garlic
2
bay leaves
Peppercorns
Fresh rosemary
Fresh thyme
dried celery
(Optional)
For the glaze:
Juice of one orange

teaspoon of cinnamon
1
teaspoon of sweet paprika
1
tablespoon of Dijon mustard
1
teaspoon of brown sugar
Honey
Ground black pepper
Salt
Instructions
Place the ham in a large pot and cover it with water. Bring it to a boil, then change the water.
Add the cloves of garlic, bay leaves, peppercorns, rosemary, and thyme to the pot. You can also add dried celery for extra flavor if desired.
Boil the ham for 4 hours, adding water as needed.
Remove the ham from the pot and place it in an ovenproof dish. Remove the skin and score the meat with a knife. Allow it to cool.
n a bowl, mix together the orange juice, cinnamon, sweet paprika, Dijon mustard, brown sugar, honey, black pepper, and salt to prepare the glaze.
Brush the ham with the prepared glaze.
Place the ham in a preheated oven at 200 degrees Celsius and allow it to brown nicely.
