A light, filling, and fresh shawarma-inspired wrap — perfect for staying on track with your diet!

Ingredients
  • ½ red onion, finely chopped (or green onion)
  • ½ cucumber, finely chopped
  • A few olives, sliced (optional)
  • 2 boiled eggs (cooked about 6 minutes and cooled)
  • 1 tablespoon cream cheese
  • 1 can tuna in its own juice, drained
  • 1 spicy red pepper, finely chopped (adjust to taste)
  • A little fresh dill (optional)
  • Juice and zest of 1 lime
  • Iceberg lettuce leaves (to use as wraps)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions
  1. Prepare the Eggs:
      • Boil the eggs for about 6 minutes, then cool them in cold water.
      • Peel and place the eggs in a large bowl. Mash them well with a fork.
  2. Add Vegetables & Tuna:
      • Add the finely chopped onion, cucumber, olives, spicy red pepper, and drained tuna to the bowl.
  3. Season & Mix:
      • Add the cream cheese, dill (if using), lime juice, and lime zest.
      • Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
      • Mix everything thoroughly to combine.
  4. Assemble the Wraps:
      • Take large iceberg lettuce leaves.
      • Place a generous amount of the filling in the center of each leaf.
      • Roll them up like a sarma or wrap.
  5. Serve:
      • Enjoy immediately as a fresh, healthy meal.
