Dulceață de Struguri (Grape Jam)

Ingredients
  • 500 grams of grapes (cleaned and stems removed)
  • 1 lemon (juiced)
  • 400 grams of sugar
  • 50 milliliters of water
Instructions
  1. Prepare the Grapes:
      • Wash the grapes well in 2-3 waters, removing the stems.
  2. Cook the Jam:
      • Place the grapes in a large pan.
      • Add the juice of 1 lemon, 400 grams of sugar, and 50 milliliters of water.
      • Mix everything well and bring to low to medium heat.
  3. Sterilize the Jars:
      • Sterilize the jars by placing them in the oven at 130°C (266°F) for 20 minutes.
  4. Remove Foam:
      • As the jam cooks, foam will form on top. Remove it.
  5. Simmer the Jam:
      • Let the jam simmer for 30-35 minutes (depending on the amount), stirring occasionally.
      • The jam is ready when a small amount forms a thread between your fingers that does not break.
  6. Store the Jam:

    Pour the jam into the sterilized jars, seal, and store

  7. Enjoy:
      • Serve the sweet grape jam on toasted bread with butter and a cup of tea. Enjoy!
