Delicious Baked Potato and Meat Dish | Mâncare delicioasă cu cartofi copți și carne

Ingredients
    For the Meat Layer:
  • 500 grams minced meat
  • 1/2 red onion (finely chopped)
  • Fresh dill and parsley (diced, to taste)
  • 50 grams parmesan cheese
  • 2 slices of bread (soaked in milk and drained)
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Black pepper (to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • For the Potato Layer:
  • A few medium-sized potatoes (sliced)
  • Olive oil (for greasing the tray)
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Black pepper (to taste)
  • Sweet paprika (optional, for seasoning)
  • 2 sprigs rosemary (for flavor)
  • For the Egg Mixture:
  • 2 eggs
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Black pepper (to taste)
  • Oregano (to taste)
  • 50 milliliters cooking sour cream
  • 1 clove cheddar cheese (grated)
Instructions
  1. Prepare the Meat Mixture
    1. In a large bowl, combine 500 grams of minced meat with 1/2 finely chopped red onion, diced dill and parsley, and 50 grams of parmesan cheese.
    2. Soak 2 slices of bread in milk, then drain well and add to the bowl with the meat mixture.
    3. Season the meat mixture with salt, black pepper, and 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Mix well to combine.
  2. Prepare the Baking Tray
    1. Grease a baking tray with 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil.
    2. Spread half of the finely chopped onion evenly across the bottom of the tray.
    3. Season with a pinch of salt and black pepper.
  3. Assemble the Dish
    1. Take the prepared meat mixture and spread it evenly over the surface of the tray.
    2. Season the meat layer with a little more salt, black pepper, and sweet paprika (optional).
    3. Place 2 sprigs of rosemary on top for added flavor.
    4. Drizzle with 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
  4. Bake the Meat
    1. Place the tray in a preheated oven at 200°C (392°F) and bake for about 1 hour, or until the meat is cooked through and browned.
  5. Prepare the Egg Mixture
    1. In a bowl, break 2 eggs and season with salt, black pepper, and oregano.
    2. Add 50 ml of cooking sour cream and 1 grated clove of cheddar cheese. Mix well.
  6. Layer the Potatoes
    1. Arrange the sliced potatoes on top of the baked meat layer.
    2. Pour the prepared egg mixture evenly over the potatoes.
  7. Final Bake
    1. Return the dish to the oven for another 10 minutes or until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden brown.
