Ingredients
For the Pork Schnitzels:
Pork pieces (quantity depends on your preference)
5 eggs (for the batter)
Salt (to taste)
Black pepper (to taste)
Pork seasoning or spices (optional, as per preference)
5 tablespoons flour (gradually added)
Oil (for frying)
For the Fried Potatoes:
7 medium potatoes (washed and peeled)
Oil (for frying)
Instructions
Prepare the Pork Schnitzels
Take the pork pieces and place them on a cutting board.
Cover them with foil and beat them gently until they are evenly flattened.
Prepare the Egg Batter
In a bowl, crack the 5 eggs and whisk them.
Season with salt, black pepper, and pork spices (optional).
Gradually add 5 tablespoons of flour into the egg mixture, starting with 3 tablespoons and mixing well to avoid lumps. Then, add the remaining 2 tablespoons.
Fry the Schnitzels
Heat a generous amount of oil in a pan over medium heat.
Dip each piece of beaten pork into the egg batter, making sure it is well-coated.
Place the coated schnitzels in the hot oil and fry until golden brown on both sides. Flip them to cook evenly on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side or until browned and crispy.
Prepare the Fried Potatoes
Wash and peel the 7 potatoes. Cut them into slices and then into sticks (like French fries).
Heat oil in another pan.
Add the potato sticks and fry them until golden and crispy, flipping them occasionally.
Serve
Plate the crispy schnitzels alongside the fried potatoes.
