Creamy Salmon Fish Pie
Ingredients

g
salmon (skin removed, cut into large cubes)
Salt and black pepper (to taste)
Sweet paprika (to taste)
Olive oil (for frying)

Juice of half a lemon

Instructions

Prepare the Fish:
Season the
600 g salmon
with
salt
,
black pepper
, and
sweet paprika
. Drizzle with
olive oil

In a well-heated pan, add a little oil and fry the fish until it is cooked through. Remove and set aside.

Cook the Potatoes:
Boil
6-7 potatoes
in water with a pinch of
salt
until tender. Drain and set aside.

Make the Creamy Sauce:
In the same pan, melt
30 g butter
, then add
2 tbsp flour
. Stir and cook for 1-2 minutes.
Gradually add
200-250 ml milk
, stirring constantly, until the mixture becomes creamy.
Season with
salt
, add
juice of half a lemon

black pepper
,
70 g cheddar cheese
, and
1 tbsp mustard

Stir in
fresh parsley
and cook for another 2-3 minutes.

Mash the Potatoes:
Mash the boiled potatoes with a little
olive oil
and sprinkle with

. Set aside.

Assemble the Fish Pie:
Preheat the oven to
180°C (350°F)

In a heat-resistant tray, layer the
cooked salmon
at the bottom.
Pour the creamy sauce over the fish.
Add
2 sprigs spinach
on top and spread the mashed potatoes evenly over everything.
Sprinkle
cheddar cheese
on top of the potatoes.

Bake the Fish Pie:
Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake for
40-45 minutes
, until the top is golden and bubbly.
