Chicken with Onion and Tomato Sauce
Ingredients
Chicken thighs (with skin), 4-6 pieces
Chicken wings, 4-6 pieces
Salt, to taste
Black pepper, to taste
Sweet paprika, to taste

medium-sized onions, finely chopped

tomato paste (adjustable to taste)

bay leaf
Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions

Prepare the Chicken:
Mark the
chicken thighs
and
wings
with a knife.
Season the chicken with
salt
,
black pepper
,
sweet paprika
, and
1 tablespoon oil
. Mix everything well.

Fry the Chicken:
Heat
2 tablespoons oil
in a pan over medium heat.
Place the chicken pieces with the skin down and let them fry until browned, turning them over for a few more minutes to brown both sides.
Once browned, remove the chicken and set aside.

Cook the Onion:
In the same pan, add the chopped
onions
and cook them over low to medium heat for about
2-3 minutes
, until they start to crackle.
Add
3 tablespoons of tomato paste
and mix well.
Pour in
1.5 cups of water
and stir everything together.

Simmer the Dish:
Return the browned chicken to the pan, add a
bay leaf
