Chicken paprikash like at my mother's home. It is one of my favorite dishes and you know why... because it has a lot of sauce as I like it and I always serve it with a hot mamaliguta, my mother is insane, it is very easy to prepare with only a few ingredients that I bet you already have with you in the kitchen, so let's stop talking and get down to business.
- In a well-heated pan, I put about 3 spoons of oil, I placed the chicken, I used the upper and lower chicken legs plus two wings. I added half a glass of water and left them to fry until the water went down and got a nice color, this way a gelatin will form and we won't need flour to thicken the sauce.
- I also finely chopped a medium-sized onion.
- I used 3 green onions, but if you don't have them, you can replace them with yellow onions.
- With two cloves of garlic that I stacked and chopped small, small, you can use a press or grate them if it's easier for you.
- A red pepper that I chopped small, you can use more or less depending on your preferences.
- When the chicken turned brown, I turned it on the other side, added the green onion, garlic, pepper and a spoonful of sweet paprika (you can also use spicy)
- I seasoned with salt, fried for about 4 minutes, then added about 400 ml of chicken soup and left everything to boil over low heat
