Cabbage and Egg Scramble with Ham and Cheddar

Ingredients
  • 1/4 head of cabbage (adjust quantity as needed)
  • 2 large eggs (or 3 smaller ones)
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Pepper (to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon spicy seasoning (or sweet paprika or your preferred spices)
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Cheddar cheese (grated)
  • 2 slices of ham (optional, for added flavor)
Instructions
  1. Prepare the Cabbage
    1. Cut the cabbage into small pieces, using about 1/4 of the head (adjust based on the portion size you want).
    2. Season the cabbage with salt and knead it gently to soften it.
  2. Prepare the Egg Mixture
    1. In a large bowl, crack 2 large eggs (or 3 small ones).
    2. Add a pinch of salt and mix well.
  3. Combine the Ingredients
    1. Add the prepared cabbage to the egg mixture and mix everything well.
    2. If you like, grate a carrot and add it to the mixture for extra flavor.
    3. Season with pepper and spicy seasoning (or your choice of spices).
  4. Cook the Dish
    1. Heat a pan over medium heat, then add 1 tablespoon of oil and 1 tablespoon of butter. Allow the butter to melt.
    2. Pour the egg and cabbage mixture into the pan, spreading it evenly across the surface.
    3. Cook until a crust forms on the bottom, then carefully flip it over and cook for a few more minutes until the eggs are fully set.
  5. Add Cheese and Ham
    1. While the eggs are still cooking, grate some cheddar cheese and sprinkle it on top.
    2. Add a few slices of ham (optional) for added flavor.
  6. Serve and Enjoy
    1. Once cooked through, serve your cabbage and egg scramble hot and enjoy!
